• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Outside TEMPORARY STORAGE?

I travel back & forth from Maine to Florida with my 2012RT. No problem for storage in Maine, even in the winter. A bump out that's plenty big enough for the Spyder even when I get on it to drive it out of the garage. However when I'm in Florida no garage! I was wondering if anybody on here has used a Cycle Shelter/Garage with the attached floor that can be taken apart to trave? I know they're not cheap but neither is my Spyder! Thanks!

Seems to me a good full cover would be better. Less expensive and not as apt to blow away in the wind. (I heard there was a little wind in Florida a while back)

Tom, I answered your pm earlier. I use a BRP full cover year round in Florida and it works great. I had an UltraGuard first and it lasted 1 year in our sun. The BRP full cover is over a year now and shows no signs of wear or fading.

I use an Ultraguard in Utah winter(snow and -10) and summer(100+ for days on end). I get about 3 years out of them tho the elastic is gone by the end of the 2nd year. Maybe it's the dry heat:roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

Don't forget the dry snow....

Our Spyder is heading for Florida next week to spend the winter for the first time. Coming back the end of April.
We have a small overhang about 10' X 6' that the Spyder will be under.
I have a half cover so I'll start with that to see how it works. At least the seat and dash will be covered that way.
If I'm no happy with that I'll have to go with a full cover.

I've had one of the motorcycle specific outdoor garage things in the past. You just rode in and then it came down over the bike like an accordian.
I stopped using it and was lucky enough to sell it. The condensation inside was definately an issue even when I left all of the air flaps open on it.
