• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Pull behind Trailer question

I have a utility trailer from Lowes and was thinking of selling it and buying a little tag along from Harbor Freight. But I am wondering if I couldn't just cut down the one I have. Is it too big? How hard would it be to move the tongue back. Or move the axle forward. Any help would be appreciated.

Go with a new one...or at least a used one meant for a motorcycle. The suspension will be too stiff on the heavier trailer...and the component parts are heavy, too...even if cut down.

That's what I was thinking. I think I will keep the big trailer and get a small when I can afford it. For now I think I will trailer the bike if we plan on camping.

I would agree on a new one, but different reasons. In cutting down and drilling new holes would require very precive (sp ?) measurements and drilling to keep the "trueness" of the trailer.
A "speed wobble" with a trailer would not be a good thing.

I've got a Tag a long; a couple of suggestions, use a 20% coupon that you can clip from most motorcycle or car magazines, check the wiring, there were shorts in mine caused by naked splices. With a set of 12 inch wheels, it went to Spyderfest with us, and has been on several other shorter trips with no problems.
