There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Radiator fan will not turn off

While riding my 21 RT yesterday I noticed that the radiator fan did not shut off after I turned off the trike. It sat in front of my house for a couple of hours when I finished riding, and the fan never cut off. When I went to start my RT it would not start, so I disconnected the battery. Today I connected the battery back and the fan turned on again. So disconnected and pulled the battery out so that I could charge it. Any ideas on what the issue could be and how I could fix it? Thanks.

Cooling Fan relay sticking on located in fuse box…..check your owner manual for location.

:agree: And unless you're real close to a dealer it might be better to just replace it yourself if it's the Bosch type relay. Take it to a auto parts store and they should be able to fix you up with one.

Just to let you know, that was the issue, and the fan is off. Will keep an eye on it to make sure when the fan kicks on, that it shuts off like it should. Again thank you, thank you, thank you. Thought I was gonna be parked for a few weeks.

Keep the old part, make an appointment with your dealer. When you take it in, reinstall the old part and let him find and replace it under warranty, keep the auto parts store one for a spare.

So Spyderups, what model (I assume it's an RT) and year are you talking about? Besides, aren't they labeled on the fuse box cover?

This being the RT forum, I'm thinking it's an RT. But, you just confirmed for me that the labels are still being put on the fuse box covers. Thank-You. Not sure why he's having the problem, then.

May I ask where is the relay?
Had the same issue, after unhooking of the positive cable and sat overnight all is well.
Took ot to the dealer,no codes, put on computer, fan kick on and off at the appropriate time.
Still nervous.

Happened to me while on trip going through Galveston area last summer with my 2020 RTL. Stopped in parking lot and tapped on fan relay and quit. Did not happen again and that was over 12 months ago.
