• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Rear Air Suspension not working - compressor runs all the time riding 2-up - any suggestions?

Hi everyone! I have a 2014 RT limited with the automatic air suspension. Problem: When I am solo everything seems to work fine. When my wife gets on with me, the compressor runs on and off all the time. I thought it was the check valve on the little compressor, so I put a new one on - didn't fix the problem. Has anyone out there had a similar problem. My nearest dealer is about 6 hours away. I would sure appreciate any suggestions (and NO, I can't leave Momma home!)

This sort of ACS issue is one of the extremely common problems on Spyders - it's a great concept, but extremely poor execution, and worse follow up on BRP's behalf! 😖

I'd guess that your Spyder's ride height hasn't been set correctly/suitably for the 2-up riding load, and you might need BUDS to re-set that with both you and your wife aboard; but it still might be something mechanical, so check out the 'Similar threads' below - at least a couple of them may have helpful info in there.

Good Luck! 😉

There are things you could check, like the drag link on the swing arm on the left side of the bike, make sure that's right and tight; and check to see what you have for pressure in the system with a tire gauge! But, like Peter said, you will have to have someone with BUDS check your height setting to make sure it is set the way it should be. If you check the pressure and it's 0 psi, then you've got a problem; it's time to break out the soap and water, get some air in the system, and check for leaks. This system is great when it works, but it really sucks when it won't!!! Most of us dump the auto part of the system when it goes South, and make it a manual fill set-up, you will see that when you do a search on the issue or check the similar threads below. Good luck!!!
