• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Rear Tire

Just wondering if any body has put a larger tire on the back than what is installed on the spyder. Hoping to lower rpms a little. I have the 30 tooth sprocket from mels and on saturday went for a 150 mile round trip and used 4 gallon of gas which comes out to 39 mpg. Would this mess up the computer and or speedometer.

My dealer told me about a customer with a Spyder that began throwing multiple error codes (seems like he said some 7 or 8) and going ino Limp Home mode. They checked everything and couldn't figure out what was wrong. They'd clear the codes and take it out again & within a few miles, were limping home again. They finally call BRP and was asked to check the rear tire. Sure enough, the customer had just put on a different size. It apparently throws everything out of whack with the computers.
