• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Review of Ultimate Seat

I have never written a review on any product but buying a seat from Ultimate Seats warrants an excellent review. I have owned two Corbin seats and a locally made custom seat for my Harleys in the past and I don’t recall them being as comfortable as quickly. The quality is exceptional and unlike other companies it is built on a very sturdy pan. I didn’t have to ship my seat to them so they could build a new seat on the flimsy stock pan. The installation was very easy and the videos were well made.

My 2014 Spyder RT has only 16K miles on it and the stock seat was extremely uncomfortable and being six feet tall I was cramped with no leg room. I bought a Tall Boy seat and it makes all of the difference in the world. Not only is it very comfortable but I also have room to stretch out, especially on the highway pegs. I was in an automobile accident on Christmas Eve which ruined my plans of riding to Daytona for Bike Week, but now with the new seat I’ll be making the two hour ride on Tuesday.

I bought the Spyder from an elderly gentleman a little over a year ago with only 5K miles on it. Over the 11K miles I have put on it, the seat has broken down considerably. The Ultimate Seat is pricey but it was well worth it. It feels as though I have a new trike.

I have an ultimate seat on my 2023 RT and my 2018 Gold Wing. Very comfortable!
On your RTL did the Ultimate seat raise the seat height? Is it wider? The reason for my questions is that I am only 5'6" & 160lbs and after changing to Helibars and putting LaMonsters floorboard risers on with a Utopia backrest, I am finally comfortable, but my wife is not on the passenger seat. On her Ryker, we put on an Ultimate seat and she loves it, but she likes to ride 2up with me when we go longer distances.

The driver's seat doesn’t seem to be any higher because you sit in it, not on it, but the passenger seat is definitely a bit higher and sits back a bit. I had to raise her foot pegs quite a bit. The seat is a bit wider, but it works well for me.

At your height, I wouldn’t get the Tall Boy though. My buddy is 5’8” and he was too far from the handlebars.
I rode 125 miles yesterday non stop and was comfortable the whole time. Love being able to adjust the back rest while you’re riding!
