• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Woop There it is!! Our future turbo charged spyder. That engine could probablly fit on my ST. Smaller, lighter than the 998 and you would not need the refrigerator front end to house the 1330.
 
I like that they're putting these engines into aircraft. That's where durability and reliability testing is everything! :thumbup:

Aircraft engines are like marine engines, designed for high constant load. You wouldn't want one in a car or bike, which is a highly variable partial load.

True but IF it were put in a spyder, I'm sure they would modify it for the application. Were just wishful dreaming at this point.
 
Nice engine, but I'm curious why they call it a Sport engine. It's got a service ceiling well above what a Sport Pilot certificate permits. It will fit the Experimental aircraft market well.

I'm not sure that your logic is applicable:
Your car will easily exceed every posted Speed Limit in the Country.
But it's up to the operator (YOU!), to keep it within the limits...

Elementary my Dear Watson! A point well made but seldom adhered to, right. I know a lot of people who think they have no limits and discover too late they have exceeded them.
