• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

RT-622 Trailer Coupler Lock

For those of you with a trailer, what lock system are you using on the coupler when it is not attached to your RT? Brand name, model, etc.

I have a Master lock system with a coupler lock, but I seldom use it on the small trailers. I do lock the tongue latch open, and beyond that I use a 15 ft cable lock to a nearby object, or between the wheels. The trouble with these small, light, narrow trailers is that a couple of guys can pick them up and throw them into the bed of a pickup in a heartbeat. All you can hope to do is make that inconvenient for them, and slow them down. If they want it badly enough, they will have it.

Addendum:
You can easily roll the RT-622 away (with one hand), even with the coupler locked. It takes more to do the job.

:agree: I have a trailer that I had made for my goldwing and all you can do with the little one's is to try to make it harder for the thief to get it away

Kryptonite Cable

I use a Kryptonite cable through wheel, around the axle (1 - 2x) and back out through wheel.
