There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The windshield is/was the only must have for me. Wind pressure causes fatigue over time, and it does a fine job of taking it off of my upper body.
On mine, I have the windshield, rear seat and backrest, rear saddle bag, hand guard lights and extensions (its pretty cold here) all OEM. Aftermarket I have heated grips (Apollo), Lamonsters LED headlights, Zus wireless backup camera setup (better than mirrors) and the toolkit I made up (see other post). For the trip, I carried a 1 gallon flat gas can made for a Polaris ATV (bought on EBay)

Does Exhaust Count? Would like a muffler that sounds better then stock.

I took the "normal" 900 - they changed the Fox-shock on the back - and the rear tire to a TOYO - maxmount - side case - - passenger seat - all black..
a special topcase with a "new" install-kit ..after the testride I found out that I need the Fox front shocks and/or a swaybar
(GPS - RPM-meter and so on)
So I`m looking for : aftermarket windshield and hopefully some new Ideas for the frontdesign !

Heck yes the exhaust counts. Are there any that fit the Ryker with it being so new?

One comment on the exhaust. This bike is louder to the rider than any of the Spyders. I am not sure if it is the exhaust exit to rider closeness or the higher engine RPM range, but it is louder, especially from 20-50 mph. I am not usre I could stand a loud exhaust on it, but that's just me!

The Zus wireless camera system and the Apollo heated grips can both be bought from Ebay by searching for the items using their names. Same thing with the fuel can, if you want one. I did a complete breakdown of the toolkit with sources if you find that post. The LED headlights can be bought straight from this site following Lamonsters Garage link. That's all I am adding for now. i do want to add the left side saddle bag once BRP releases it, only because I hate the one sided bag look!
I agree not a huge fan of the one bag on the side. I'll probably do the top case and the windshield. Not much use for the heated grips here in Texas lol

I got the windshield and handguard covers! The windshield can be replaced with the same 4 bolts used on the Original windshield But it can,t be tooo large or the wind pressure may exceed the strength of the mount? There has to be sport bikes with a windshield just slightly larger that can bolt into the mount or it could be cut to fit.

I went with nothing... to start. Well I did go helmet, a jacket I like and some pants that are warm. I figured that I need to put a good amount of miles on it to really find out what accessories I need to add. Don't want to spend the money up front for something that might not totally enhance the ryde. It feels kind of sweet the way it is... for now at least.

PM me and we can meet up in the Houston or Katy area. I have the windshield, top case (tail bag), tank bag and other accessories already on mine if you want to take a look.
The tail bag is kind of a bust for me because it's just a tad too small for my purposes. The opening is too small for a compact laptop (e.g. Dell XPS 12" Ultrabook) to fit through the neck. It works well for small grocery runs, holding camera gear, rain gear, etc. Another drawback to that case is that it doesn't have a lock. If you live in a high-theft area or park it in public spaces, then you'll have to take it with you before someone else does. I'm sure someone will modify it or add a locking option eventually. I might hack mine to remove the latch-and-shoe mechanism to reuse on another mounting plate... create my own "universal" top case mount from aluminum or mild steel... we'll see. My version will certainly have a lock/bolt option for the plate, and the top boxes already have their own locks.
I have ordered ALL of the accessories (nearly every OEM add-on) from Wild West and should have stuff coming in next week. I already own the SHAD SH36 panniers for two of my other bikes, so I just ordered the mount/carrier for the Ryker. I'll just swap from bike to trike as needed.
I agree on the asymmetric appearance... it's just lopsided. I'll get used to it though. The SH36 has an ingenious mounting/locking system that is very well-executed. It will be my helmet and laptop carrier for my Ryker.
I'll post reviews and opinions of all of the gear as I get familiar with everything.

I'm a huge fan of MadStad and Givi windscreen designs (have them on all of my bikes), so I'll be very interested in your design to see how to improve upon the OEM unit. I don't have any real complaints about the OEM unit, but more options are always better! --

I was able to get a handle of bourbon and a handle of rum in my tail trunk over the weekend. My adult kids are going to drink me out of house and home! I would like bilateral symmetry in the panniers so I can effectively visit the grocery store; they eat a lot too.

You could get the beer hat accessory for your helmet to hold those spirits and save the tiny trunk for groceries! :roflblack:
