• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Ryker Seat Survey

Hi all just got my 2021 Ryker 900 and since I have back problems I will need to get a better seat. Would like your commences on the available seats.

Also it is difficult to get on the, so I am going to experiment by adding a third peg like I had on my Spyder. Will let you know how it comes out.

I put and Airhawk on mine (on top of the Comfort Seat) and I really like this combo. I bought the Comfort Seat for the larger size and extra height but I added the Airhawk soon after purchase so I did not ride the Comfort Seat alone for very long. The Airhawk is easy to try (buy from Amazon).

The right size is the "Airhawk - R-REVB Cruiser R Large".

I have the 2019 Ryker 900 ace. I went to the Rally stock seat a love it.

Not many people know it but you're right, the stock Rally seat is a little bit thicker than the stock Ryker 900 seat. You can tell the difference if you sit on both models, you can also see it in side by side images. I like and had no problems with the stock Rally seat, for most of my rides it was great. but when doing longer distance rides of 4 or 5 hours or all dayer's, I felt that when I did my annual 12 hour ride to the Smoky Mountains, I would need something a little better. I also have an Airhawk that I would use occasionally on the Rally stock seat, but when I replaced the stock seat with the Driver Comfort seat, I haven't needed the Airhawk since.

I have a 2019 Rally with the BRP comfort seat. It performs very well, and I feel no need for additional padding or a change of seats. I also have the BRP passenger comfort seat. It, too, is quite good and actually provides a low backrest funtion for the driver's seat. I does require you to lift your leg higher getting on or off though.

I have the Comfort Seat and haven't thought I needed some other option. For me, it's a good seat....even though it has a relatively high price tag.

I think I may go a little bit overboard on this topic. I have the comfort seat, air airhawk and sheep skin. I have ridden several 500 plus mile days and I end each day with a smile :)

Yes, the Driver Comfort Seat is plug & play. Just pull the OEM seat off by reaching underneath the foam and pull up at the tabs, the Driver Comfort Seat just plugs into the same tab holes as the original. Not sure about the installation of the Solo Comfort seat. I heard that the clamshell has to be opened for the install on that one.

I have the comfort seat and the backrest on my Rally 2019 and love it! I also have back problems and these two items male my rides enjoyable! The longest I did was 3hrs on the bike!
