Just thinking about buying a Ryker Rally and was wondering if anybody had recomendations for a windshield? Seen the Can Am versionand it looks to small. Any thoughts ? Thanks

I bought the normal 900 and added their "Can-Am outlander fairing" - so I have handprotectors - GPS & Drinkholders .. its an easy plug & play system if you don`t need it ..

I installed an adjustable Madstad windshield for a customer and it was nice. looked decent enough on there - they make them in varying heights.

Do you need to change the handle bars for that to fit?

I have the 2021 Rally, I turned the handlebars upside and down and backwards but I can not get the deluxe fairing to install.. the angle is not enough on for the mounts...did you have to do anything special or replace the handlebars?

I wonder how bad of a hit the Ryker takes in MPG when riding with a windshield? My previous bike was a 2002 Suzuki Marauder 800. When I installed the windshield, I lost four miles per gallon.

I installed the adjustable sport windshield from Can-Am and documented the steps to install in this YouTube video. The windshield was relatively easy to install and it does provide some help with the wind at higher speeds, but on the highway the buffeting is still too much. I think I will be looking to another windshield and will try out the Madstad windshield. I had a Madstad windshield on my Spyder and I loved it (except for the look of it).

I just checked the two fill up’s for my Ryker so far in April. According to my gas log app, I was getting 179 miles per tank full. First fill up got me 5.5 gallons, for 32.9 mpg. The second fill up got me 5.4 gallons, for 32.7 mpg. I’m pretty happy with that. This is mostly highway speeds with the F4 Customs Ryker windshield.

I recall watching a YouTube video where the poster said they needed to swap out the handle bars. I don't recall what they used, but it should be pretty easy to track down the video.

most use the Outlander handlebars - these fit perfect, I found used Aprilia-Mille handlebars which have around the same size - with the Rally handlebars its not so easy to clip it up&down like here: ..

I'm a new ryker owner and non-experienced motorcycle driver. I don't know if it's just that I'm not used to it but the first couple of times I've been out for short drives on my ryker I really noticed the wind resistance. I was wondering how much of a difference a windshield would make. For those of you that have one, has it cut down a wind a lot?

Also wondering if anybody has any feedback on the show chrome windshield here? https://www.slingmods.com/canam-ryker-adjustable-windshield-show-chrome?vehicle=4

It sounds like the f4csustoms windshield is one of if not the best windshields for the ryker, but it's pretty pricey especially in Canada

Im 6 feet 2 inches tall, using the small Can Am shield, and it does a great job in my opinion. It is small enough so I freely can look over it, but still does a good job of keeping wind from my chest.
Im happy with it, but there are quite a few aftermarket options out there, both small and large. :)

See my post farther up. ^^^

The Puig 5022H is slightly larger than the stock Can Am windshield and blocks the wind perfectly for me. I prefer to look over the windshield.
