• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Sena 20s and passenger

My wife and I have Sena 20S and sometimes we have a grand kid on each bike. Is there anyway to be able to communicate with the grand kids without having to buy another pair of Sena's. Not bike to bike but kid to grand parent.

20S is compatible with many other brands for basic communication.
Maybe get a cheap set for the kids like the Sena SMH-5's or some other brand.

Sena sells a kit with just the mounting base and headphones. You can install the kit on the kids helmet and transfer your Wife's 20s to that helmet when needed. This is what I do for my Son and Daughter in law on my spare large helmet. Neither one of them can wear my wife's extra small helmet.

Good Idea

:agree:

After reading the OP I was thinking that the only way I knew of was to just shout over your shoulder. But I think your idea is better. ;)

Bob's got a good idea too - getting a cheaper unit for "guests". I've been through 3 sena headsets in the three years I've owned the RT. My first was an SPH10 because I thought I'd ride with a half helmet in the summer. Then I got a modular helmet and bought an SMH10 for it. Recently I upgraded to the 10S. Since I no longer use the half helmet, I gave the SPH10 to my son for his helmet and the SMH10 to my grandson, so he could communicate on rides with his dad. Now, when my grandson is riding with me, we both have Sena units.
