• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Small Trailer for Mobility Scooter

Professor

New member
I need a small trailer to haul my mobility scooter behind my 2014 RT. The scooter only weighs 83 pounds and can be easily broken down into 5 parts. Any ideas on where to get something like that without spending thousands of dollars? Also, is the Can Am hitch the best way to go or are there good alternatives? Thanks.

I have thought about this.

If you are able to able to lift a folding compact scooter out of a standard motorcycle trailer. That is a possible way to go.

If you are not able to do that. Then I would consider getting an inexpensive trailer base from maybe Harbour Freight. Building a box and ramp on it, that will work with a full size mobility scooter.

I hadn't thought of Harbor Freight. I'll follow up on that. Thanks.

G'day from Aust.

He hasn't got one for the F3 yet, but has for the older ones.
Send him an e-mail, i'm sure he can answer and questions.

According to the website, the cost for the hitch is:
USA

$381
$124 (Price + Shipping) which is pretty close to the BRP price . I appreciate the information, but since the BRP hitch is plug and play, I'll probably go with that. Thanks.
