• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

squeaking noise

I'm a newbie with a 2012 RT classic. My question is making left turns under power I get a squeaking and sort of chirping noise. Sounds like in the belt area. Bike has 6500 miles on it. Any help, Thanks

Dust in brake area

I was getting quite a bit of squeaking as well when I was in Maine last week. Turned out it was all of the dust that had been accumulating on brake pads. Washed at home and squeaking has gone away. I have read in previous posts about folks having to use brake parts cleaner to clean some of the grime off of brakes to eliminate noises.

I'm going to have to take a closer look at mine. I thought I was hearing a slight squeak from the front wheels from time to time.

Try this..!!

there are some belts that squeaked and brp recommended you put a pea size drop of grease on the center of the rear sprocket between one tooth. After ryding a bit the belt will spread it all around and eliminate the noise. If it continues it is coming from somewhere else...
