• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Stanproff learning one thing at a time: Check air filter

Well, I thought it was time to check the air filter on the Spyder. took the panels off that it tells you to in the manuel (mirror included). When the sound panel is out of the way you'll get to the airbox.
At first glance it seems like it will be hard to get the filter out, the key here is don't be shy. After flipping open the 3 snaps Wiggle and push the box apart,, and you can work the filter out. You can curve it towards the rear of the spyder and it will come out. Mine wasn't dirty so I put it back in reverse order. I didn't need to replace it but it was a good Exercise to learn how to do it. Not bad once you start, by the way, I have an extra screw if anyone needs one. If a panel seems a little loose or not lineing up you have forgot one of the push-pins. Yep! I did that too.

Thanks for the info. Been there with the pin thing. But although it might not matter it drives me crazy so I take everything back appart until I find it.
