• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Star Brite

Since the discussion on ethanol in gas, I decided to pick up some Star Tron Star Brite at my local TSC store.

Lucked out and it is currently on sale for $4.99 (reg $7.99).

Have not tried it yet--- but for $5 that will cover 48 gallons (.10 a gallon) - it's worth a shot. 1 oz per 6 gallons--- so basically 1 oz in every Spyder tank.

Will see if it makes any difference....

I've been using it about a month and a half... I really noticed a difference, better throttle response, smother idle and the deceleration popping is completely gone.

Anyone else use this ?:popcorn::popcorn:

I have been using this is all my toys (Sea-Doos, Spyders, Bikes, ATVs and Snowmobiles, and Scooters) for the last two years.

It works GREAT! :ohyea:

I put it in every tank fill up and not only does this make my toys run better on today's E10 fuel, this way fuel is always stabilized so it does not go stale while the toys are sitting.

I give this product :2thumbs: and highly recommend it to everyone.

Put about 2 oz in mty tank yesterday and filled up for a ride, rode my RT-S all day.
After about 170 miles the fuel light came on, went to gas station and filled up again - 5.4 gal. thats the first time i got 173 miles to a tank - not bad!

2 oz. might be overkill -- they say 1 oz. covers 6 gallons.

At 10c per gallon using 87 octane is still cheaper than using the premium 91 which is 20c to 30c more.

It's the extra 2 oz that that's given you the extra miles, before you add 2 oz take out 2 oz of gas, then check your mileage.:roflblack:

Has anyone used this with 89 octane and if so what has been the performance and the mi/gal? :helpsmilie: :dontknow:

Great price I just bought some at wallyworld for 8 and change then I was in home depot and it was 6 and change. I just put it in yesterday so no ratings yet.

Pete:yes:

Figures - it's not available in the Northwet !! :gaah:

I'll wager the Greenies out here made it illegal to use…. They'll want us to install windmills on our bikes soon.
