• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Still can't ride...

The injury to my ankle I got in December still hasn't healed enough for me to ride. No longer in the boot full time but still on crutches much of the time and my ankle simply won't let me get up in the saddle. Very frustrating.

Really hoping I'll be able to ride by May, but just don't know.

On the positive side my wife has said if the ankle won't get to the point that it'll support me getting on my RT, I should buy an F3 and she'll take the RT. So that's something...

;)

Very sorry to hear that you still cannot ride. A real bummer for an active rider. I am already feeling your pain.

Good question. I was going to ask the same thing.

In any case, flaggerphil, I hope it heals soon.

Very sorry to hear that you still cannot ride. A real bummer for an active rider. I am already feeling your pain. I have hip surgery coming up and know I will not be able to mount either of my RT's until everything is set well on the new hip.

I am going to take advantage of the next 30 days of riding--because then I will also be done for awhile. :(

Did you ever double check to see if you had any hip precautions with the anterior approach? I know someone said that he didn't have any with his anterior approach; but, I made mention there was a precaution. Just curious.

:agree: With Mike and Wylie... try climbing on from the Starboard side...
But it sounds as if your "Best-Half" is willing to consider some "accommodations" for your situation. :D
It's time to start shopping!!!:ohyea::yes:

I Remember

When I broke my wrist (actually it was broken for me by a kid running a red light) in 2007, I felt the same way. Tried to figure out how to get on the bike with an external fixator sticking out of my arm.
Just be careful to NOT jeopardize your recovery. You'll be back ryding soon enough!

Getting older sucks, injuries take longer to heal

Hope you get better soon flaggerphil
