• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The Honda Quad

Hannigan has been around for quite a while...
It's true that their quad keeps getting press, but I'm not sure that they.ll actually sell you one...
(How do you legally license a four-wheeled motorcycle?)

BECAUSE - BOB

Well it stops being a Motorcycle when that fourth wheel is added.....What it LEGALLY becomes is anyones quess............IMHO it will vary from State to State .......Mike

Saw one of these on the road

Back in July were were riding on the two wheeler and saw one these heading the other way on the Cumberland Parkway in southern KY. About two weeks later we saw it again. But have not seen it since. Very interesting!

:agree: GG tried to import their Quad about 8 years ago. They even had an importer in Texas lined up...
Then the project sort of died... And they brought out the Taurus!
Perhaps due to the ease with which they could legally define it as a motorcycle? :D

The article states Idaho is one of 5 states that licenses quads for road use. Not quite true. Quads have a special license tag that allows you to ride them on county roads and city streets in accordance with what those jurisdictions specifically allow, and on all Forest Service and BLM roads. You may NOT ride quads on state and federal highways, except to cross them at right angles. That right there kills the quad Goldwing as a viable vehicle. Otherwise they will have to meet Federal auto standards.

i think it looks cool, my main concern would be how it handles otherwise its not much different than riding a spyder. As long as you ride on top instead of sit in i think it similar. Of the funky new vehicles posted recently that yamaha leaning 3 wheeler has me most intrigued.

"At what point do you get a small convertible?" Jerry, that IS a convertible!

Exactly. For $42K you have lots of options, so I got SL320 a few years back for $14K + a [new] 2012 RTS for $20K with $8k saved.

But it it is cool and it is nice to see someone make it.

Jerry
