• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The side panel with the fake screws

While replacing the headlights, I realized that I had cracked one of the "studs" that go into the grommets on the side panel that seem to have 2 fake chrome bolts. It was the one closer to the back of the bike. I decided to use epoxy on it. While messing with it, I discovered that the screws are not fake, but rather a security "screw". I had a set of the HF security sets, so I found what worked. Its a tork, the smaller one with a pin in the middle.

Yes, and your not suppose to mess with them because the prongs are aligned to go into the lower panel. If you change the alignment of the pin you may have to play with the angel of the pin to get the Tupperware to line back up.

Bill they are called tamper resistant torx. To put that panel in it is usually easiest to put the forward stud in and then bow the panel to insert the rear stud. Be careful or you will push the grommet through.

I did see that, actually there is some plastic that holds them at the proper angle.

You are right, it seems to work best that way. I cracked it I think the last time I put it on.
