• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I started a thread this morning about this (is spydering on her bucket list). She stated on the Today Show that she told the instructor she couldn't move her knees and asked for help to exit the plane.

I jumped / was pushed from a few Huey's no chute,
Just a Prick 25 on my back.
Even at a few feet it jolts you, Can't imagine what a few thousand feet would feel like,
I guess splat and its all over.:opps:

Wow, that is one cool granny. I did that once, and unless someone really close to me wanted me to do it again, I'm done with skydiving. Off my bucket list.
P.S. really glad she kept the hair on.:yikes:

I made a great many jumps back in the my college days, and served as a jumpmaster for a few hops. There were lots of things visible in that video that should not have happened. Very poor job on the jumpmaster's part. The obvious looseness of the harness before she exited the plane was the worst. A properly fitted and tightened harness would not have allowed her to slip out. It looked like she was actually too short for that rig, possibly aggravated by her obvious spine curvature. She should probably never been allowed to jump. Very lucky that the winged chutes nowadays are more maneuverable and land more softly than the war surplus "rags" we jumped. Her safe survival is a true miracle!

...and how about that poor gal whose safety line failed when she fell at the top of the climbing wall? More poor work on the part of the concession operator. These folks are far too cavalier in their safety inspections and procedures. There is no excuse for these kind of incidents...they were 100% preventable. Both outfits should lose their licenses. nojoke

:agree: It'd take a bullet through my brain pan to get my fingers pried loose from the face of the person doing the shooting to get me out! :yikes:
