• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

This is how McDonald's makes its McRib from beginning to end.

I used to eat the heck out of these. I'll still have one from time to time.
I've heard that they no longer roll this out to all the McDonalds and it is now voluntary per franchise.

Is it real pork? Why is it that shape? Some of the biggest questions about our food revolves around the McRib, so Grant Imahara and a McDonald’s skeptic are going to Lopez foods, one of our U.S. pork suppliers, to find answers. Watch to see what goes into a McRib patty

That was a good information piece about the McRibb.

I read one of those articles a while back about the 10 things that you should not order at fast food places...that was enough to almost get me to swear off of fast food.

It was one of those advo-articles where everything was filled with pop up ads. I toughed it out though, because of the subject matter.

Can't find the article today though.

i love the McRib but i can't get them here in NY. over my career in the electrical business i have worked in many restaurant kitchens and if you saw what i have you would never eat out again

When the McRib came out several years ago as limited availability, I tried one or two. I thought they were kind of bland. So is the Wendy's pulled pork, IMHO.

Don't know..!!

never had one but this video makes it look okay...I am suspicious of anything that is pressed into looking like something real. May try one someday. Thanks for the link...:2thumbs:

:D I heartily concur with your assessment! :2thumbs:

Damn  Now you've got me wanting to order McRibs, and eat them in the Magic Kingdom...

"YO HO! YO HO! A pirate's life for me..." :D

Hey Cuz, I agree. I worked in many a Fallen Arches back area. Sure opened my eyes. And not in a good way.

I've never eaten at a McDonalds before. Have ordered kids meals for the kid before, but have never eaten there personally.

Really

.

I used to eat there too often. Now I only eat an occasional fish sandwich. But, I will be eating a mcrib again since they are now available.
