• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

doing it . said i would let them know.

WHEEL BALANCING

The fronts can be done by any place that does car wheels ......ours are very close to a Honda wheel.....No adaptor necessary....The rear is the problem ......RIM width & hole Diameter...............However I didn't balance my last 3 rear wheels and have not had any issues.....No Vibes, No difference in wear......good luck......mike

Are we talking front or rear wheels. There is a big difference.

For the rear wheel the center shaft is too big to fit the center wheel hole on some machines. You have to try it to find out.
The front wheels will fit the center shaft on most balancers. The problem is hub diameter on the Spyder wheel is too small to fit on the machined surface of the balancers hub. Adapter plate for the balancer is required. The shop will have one or not. You will just have to let them try.

My Snap On balancer will not do a rear wheel unless the hub is unbolted from it.

I can do the front tires, however the adapters for the cars are just slightly too large, so I use an adapter designed for something else and it works fine.

Not sure about the Honda wheels being the same, my wifes old Civic I could balance.

Also, with my machine it has a fine setting for the dynamic balance and allows me to dial in to less than 0.1 oz.

I accomplish dynamic balance with weights on the inside and outside edge as opposed to a static balance with all the weights on the wheels centerline.
