tire places low cost

I know theres been many tire places mentioned in here but I was looking at making 1 list of the name of these places with the website can you all please chime in here for this list for all to use.

Apparently not all Walmart stores with an automotive shop can balance Spyder front tires. There is only one Walmart in my immediate area with an automotive shop and they could not spin balance my Spyder tires because they did not have the correct adapter needed to secure the wheels to their spin balance machine. A friend of mine got new tires mounted and spin balanced at a Walmart about 20 miles or so from me for $11.00 a piece. Wish I had known about that store...I paid twice that amount at TQ.

SPYDER FRONT WHEELS

Apparently not all Walmart stores with an automotive shop can balance Spyder front tires. There is only one Walmart in my immediate area with an automotive shop and they could not spin balance my Spyder tires because they did not have the correct adapter needed to secure the wheels to their spin balance machine. A friend of mine got new tires mounted and spin balanced at a Walmart about 20 miles or so from me for $11.00 a piece. Wish I had known about that store...I paid twice that amount at TQ.

I find this hard to believe ....The Spyder front wheels are not " UNIQUE " in the world of commercial MOUNTING & BALANCING MACHINES ...however the people trying to use them often are :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:.......The REAR WHEELS are a different story....Generally speaking most MTC shops can do them....Mike :thumbup:

Actually they are "unique" in that they have a very small center hole. This prevents them being mounted on some automotive machines at all...or from being mounted on other machines where the shop doesn't have the correct adapter. Motorcycle machines usually have a small spindle, but tne shop may not have the larger adapter needed. Some motorcycle machines also have a pretty thin spindle, which may wobble when an automotive width tire is mounted. Nothing is a simple as it seems.

I know. When I mentioned to the Walmart Service Manager that "other" Walmart stores have balanced the Spyder tires/wheels his comment was that we all don't have the same equipment. Bought my tires from Walmart but had to go to TQ for mounting/balancing.
