Took my first "real" ride today.

I got my motorcycle endorsement this last Monday. Since it was a beautiful morning, though a bit chilly, today I took my first long ride as I rode into work today. Now it normally takes me about 50 minutes to drive into work but today, I decided to let the GPS take me to work and Miss Smith (that's what we call the GPS lady) decided that we should take the back roads into work. That added about a half-hour to the drive but I got to experience some beautiful Iowa farmland and a road that had some turns in it. That gave me a good chance to see how my 2013 RT-Ltd turns. BTW, my :spyder2: just floats along at 60 mph and doesn't dart around at all, especially if I keep a light grip on the handlebars. I think the new ball joints work great.

I can't wait until work is over and I get to ride home! This time I'm going to take my usual route.

I forgot to say that my wife told me to call here when I got to work. It was funny because right after I pulled into the parking lot, she called me wondering if I had made it. I think she's going to have to get used to me taking longer to go back and forth to work this summer.

Great news. Glad you enjoyed the ryde in. Love doing the farmland country, the sights, the smells, etc. Used to do that a lot when I lived in Indiana. Was just 15 miles from the Ohio farmland.

Congrats on being legal and your new SPYDER. I love my 2013 RT-S and agree with you that the new ball joints make a big difference. :dg2:
