• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

top speed of the Ryker 900

I had a little problem with the height of the higher shield of my large Can-Am Delux fairing - so I cutted it 2,5 inch, my helmet began to wiggle on higher speeds, now its OK. as you see the Ryker drives absolutely calmly and stably (German Autobahn .. ) the "limiter" starts at 8.240 RPMs .. -
(but my old Spyder RS/GS was really a little faster ;) )

172 Kmh = 107 miles per hour !!

Chris, the ultimate test is to see what the top speed is when SHE is sitting behind you.:shemademe_smilie:

Nice! I've been up at 160 kmh, acceleration is still good, so with some adjustments/tuning to the CVT a higher top speed should be possible at least from Power perspective. Anyone know what parts are available to tune the CVT? I'd figure a lot of people driving snowmobiles have been tuning their CVTs for many years to adjust the "gearing" and "shifting behaviour".
170 top speed is enough for me, but the curious side of me would love to know what can be done! :)

I have not had the chance to run mine up to see how fast it will go. I've had my 2008 GS to 125 mph on the speedo. Actual speed on both is less, of course, because the speedometer is a lie. The lie gets bigger the faster you go. But I can tell you that the size of your windshield is a big factor in your top speed capabilities. Fuel mileage will also suffer as the windshield gets bigger.

105 mph is where mine tops out. The speedo fluctuates between 105 and 106mph. I ran it wide open for a good distance and that was all it had in sport mode. My buddy on his BMW ran side by side with me. My speedo was off 2mph compared to his gps.

I've opened up the throttle just to see how fast it goes and can confirm it does 100 mph. lol Didn't go any faster than that.

I usually travel highway speeds 60-75 mph and it's a gas pig at those speeds.
