There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. A big hello from the great state of North Dakota. I bought a trailer from a friend for my 2014 RT limited. The trailer has a 6 pin round end on it and i'm looking at getting the show chrome hitch and wireing harness but i noticed that the harness is only a 5 wire. Is there a way i can make this work ? Thanks everyone for you great fourm help. Craig & Lori

Your trailer is likely not a 6 wire system, but anything is possible. You need to figure out what it is first. If the trailer has amber turn signals. It is likely a 5 wire system. If it has only red lights then likely only a 4 wire system. It could be there are white backup lights. Not very likely but anything is possible. So take a good look at the trailer lights and see what's there.

PS Is there any stuff inside the trailer that needs power. Fridge, microwave oven, lights etc.

So you have amber turn signals. That should work out well with the Show Chrome Harness. You may have 6 wires at the plug but I would guess it only uses 5 of them. The extra wire could have been intended to power some accessory that is not there. So keep the trailer the way it is as long as it works now. Along with the harness for the Spyder order a 6 pole round that matches something like this.

I simply took my bike and trailer to hitch world and they made me a custom adapter to go between OEM plug on bike and existing plug on trailer (like Yours)
