There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Troop’s Viking Motorcycle Mesh Jacket Recommendation

I ordered my jacket from Amazon on the 16th of this month (June 2020). Was scheduled for delivery on the 20th but Amazon missed the mark. I may be wrong but I got the feeling the driver didn’t want to deliver it over the past weekend. I’m on the end of their route judging by the scheduled delivery times (late afternoon early evenings). Anywho, Monday (yesterday) rolled around and they delivered it after 5 PM. I wasn’t home but I got a text saying it was just delivered so I texted wifey and she drove down to the road and picked it up

Let me say right off, the Jacket was packaged well, and I was curious as I opened the clear plastic bag it was wrapped in, if the Jacket I received would have the liner as I read a lot of Amazon reviews that said they didn’t get a liner with their jacket. My jacket (the one delivered to me) had the liner intact, zipped in place. That said, if you’ve ever owned a Joe Rocket Mesh Jacket, the liners they provide are quite robust and can be worn as a jacket all by itself. I’ve owned several Joe Rocket full mesh jackets and the liners that came with mine were and are fairly substantial. My current Rocket Mesh Jacket (3XL Long) came with a very nice liner. That said, the liner that cane with this Viking brand Mesh Jacket I’m sure will do the job of providing warmth, but it’s not in the same league (nor the same cost) as the Rocket liner

As far as fit goes, I have to say Im truly impressed how this jacket fits me. I ordered a 2XL and the fit is phenomenal. Putting it on right out of the bag, it requires zero adjustments, and if you’ve read about this jacket elsewhere, you know it has several important adjustable features. I also need to say I require a long in my coats, shirts and jackets. I’m 6’1” & currently 255 lbs. I had an idea when I first zipped it up, I had a hunch the jacket’s length would not be a distracting factor. In fact, I hadn’t worn it two minutes before I rushed out to my Ryker to sit on it to see if this coat might ride up and be a disappointment, it wasn’t, there’s plenty of length and what a pleasant surprise as I knew right there & then, this jacket would be a keeper

We took several pics of me in this jacket but I’m w/o a working tablet at the moment and for the life of me, I can’t seem to post pics with my iPhone (8+). I probably could if I used the proper app but I don’t so I can’t. I’m getting off topic admitting I’m an Apple fanboy. I recently demolished my iPad (first gen 12.9” Pro) and been trying to replace it. Best Buy won’t let me order it, Apple wants 4 weeks to ship yet I could drive/ride to Orlando to their store (roughly a 2 hour ride for me), and that’s one way (no thanks). Sorry, but I digress=:-). When I can I’ll add pics

I’ve yet to test it out via a shake down ride, to see how well it flows air yet I will soon and I’ll get back to this thread then

I got the same from Amazon a few days ago. For anyone else thinking about this, 2 things. 1) It runs small. I normally wear a 3XL. This is a 3XL and is very snug. 2) I'm not seeing how it flows much air. I've removed all the (fairly cheap) armor and plan to carefully remove all of the pockets as they will block air somewhat. I bought this specifically hoping for something that allows maximum air flow.

Looks like decent quality for under 50 bucks. We'll see if it holds up.

We also just purchased a pair of the Viking Mesh jackets...thanks to Troop.

Bought them direct from Viking. It took a couple weeks to get them, but when they arrived, we are both very happy with them. We paid $49.95 each...a couple bucks more than the Amazon site I hear.

IMO, sizing was right on for us. We take XL and they fit us perfect. They come with a great liner, so, in most cases, I don't think we need to travel with an extra jacket.

We test drove them a couple times last week. With the larger mesh, they are not to bad up to 85 degrees. Beyond that, okay when moving, but don't get stuck in the sun in traffic.

I will also add that we removed the armor (which was very good), but would make the package to much for hot weather driving.

I give them a five out of five.

Pheeewww .. Glad I led no one astray :). I'm 6' 2.5" and weigh 235#. Normally, I wear XL's from early TourMaster (2X in current), XL in Olympia and XL in my Indian jacket. More likely roomier/american cut. Viking's size chart certainly doesn't coincide with american sizing. I chatted with Viking between the 2X and 3X. They recommended a 3X, as I stated my intentions to wear thick hoodies/sweatshirts underneath the jacket in cooler weather. It is a bit "puffy" when rolling down the road with just a t-shirt under it and liner removed. Standing upright, it doesn't look too baggy at all, although it is roomy. Being longer in inseam (36"), arm length is plenty adequate. I just recently removed the armor, which provides a bit more additional room. I like it. When I bought it, their was also a 10% off coupon, so it cost me a touch under $45 with tax. For the price/quality, it is a bargain.
