• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Tupperware attachments

On my RT somehow the attaching point on the external cover over the oil dipstick is 'breaking' loose from the panel which is the bike skin...
Is there a way to repair the attaching fitting? A rider I met a few weeks age said to use (black ABS cement) like plumbers use. I did an application in layers, letting it dry well before the next application. It lasted about 2 cover removals...
Is there a mod of any kind to replace the plastic standoff & pin assembly? I thought I might machine one on my lathe out of a bolt that would pass thru the Tupperware to the outside.:helpsmilie:
Or does anyone have a better idea?

Have a great day,

I'd approach my dealer to see if I could get the cover replaced under warranty. If it was not abused, it may have been cracked from the factory. It is not an item that is readily damaged in normal use.
