Pg 21 of your operator's guide.
The manual says that when the motor is running, the turn signal will automatically turn off after 30 seconds. Very misleading! After a ‘shallow’ turn, you must turn if off yourself.....same thing for a lane change. IT WILL NOT automatically turn off after 30 seconds, or at least mine won’t.
Mine does! It may be more than 30 seconds though. I've never timed it. It's longer than I like!IT WILL NOT automatically turn off after 30 seconds, or at least mine won’t.
The cancel is not too good either wearing gloves, left, right, left, right then off. (maybe)

Idaho, do you mean to tell me that if you signal a lane change that your signal light will self cancel shortly after? or are you no longer on your ‘14 RTS?
Look at the original post....he’s a new owner trying to learn about his new to him spyder, so he came to us asking questions. Is that so wrong? Why not just turn it off yourself?
I think my Harley’s were made at the same place:banghead:
After this thread arose I was on a long stretch of U.S. 29 in VA and pressed my turn signal button for a right turn or lane change and just let it blink until it self-cancelled and it did so in about 30 seconds.
