• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

HowTo: Update the software on the Can-Am Spyder 10.25” touchscreen display.

Do the "Minor bug fixes" in this update include enabling CarPlay? Anybody had a chance to try it yet? I'm still awaiting delivery of my RTL so I can't check.

I followed the steps to connect my 2024 Spyder to my WiFi network last night, and it showed no updates were available.
I suspect my dealer updated it before they delivered it to me.

At the bottom of page 50 of my 2024 Spyder Operator's Guide I found this:

To use the Apple CarPlay, you must
1. Connect a compatible smartphone to the display via USB cable.
2. Pair a helmet audio system to the display via Bluetooth.
NOTE:
If one of the two devices is not properly connected, Apple CarPlay can not be
used.

So I ordered a bluetooth enabled audio system for my helmet and am waiting for it to arrive.

As far as i am aware the Apple Carplay Software update has not been released yet. Dealer said he would let me know once it becomes available. Once it does you will have two options to install it. Either let the Dealer do it (No cost) or do it yourself through your WiFi connection
