• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Visit to Blue Moon Cycle

For some time I have been meaning to visit Blue Moon Cycle in Norcross, Georgia. They are a BMW dealer but also have a bit of a museum on site with a good number of vintage motorcycles scattered around the place both upstairs and down. Unfortunately the second floor isn't too well lit and some of my photos didn't turn out well.

I am posting some that did come out okay. The green scooter is the coolest thing but I do not know the make. The Daytona poster must be from the fifties and the machine gun on that sidecar is pretty lethal looking.

The green NSU (year unknown) is an 800. The little one is stainless steel and the skeleton on the old Harley is petty freaky.

There were several Ural with side cars but this one had the best camouflage. The BMW set up for heavy duty riding looks just like the Beemers that Charlie and Ewan rode in Long Way Around.

Thanks..!!

Looks a lot like some NSU scooters of yore. Thanks for taking some pictures and sharing with us... :2thumbs: Great shots...

I've been there a number of times over the years, although it's been awhile since my last visit. I buy Garmin stuff there mainly. Steven Larson, one of the salesmen, used to work at the Honda shop in Lawrenceville & was the salesman who sold me my '01 GL1800A Goldwing. He's a good guy and a cancer survivor. Their Service Department Manager used to work at Honda too, but I can't remember ER his name. He's a good guy too.
