• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Is it possible that a VSS Warning Light and a compressor replacement are related?

2015 RT LTD , dealer replaced the rear suspension compressor last week. When riding home from the dealer, I noticed the VSS Warning Light was illuminated (it’s way too dim to qualify as a Warning Light and it's often hidden under the Tach Needle at 2500 RPM).
Is it possible that the replacement of the compressor and the Warning Light are related?

Thanks!

I will say that my VSS and limp mode came on when my battery was borderline going bad. I wonder if they were trying the compressor without the engine going and drained the battery below what it should be?

There's a lot to take apart and put back together correctly for that job. As a quick check, lift your seat and check that they remembered to plug the pillion rider switch - aka passenger switch - back in. If they took off the rear wheel and went in from below, check that the rear speed sensor is reinstalled. Otherwise, start it back up so that the warning light is illuminated again and call up the codes. Don't use Google for the code explanation, post and search for it on here.

Or, take it back.

I had the compressor and check valve replaced on 10/16 after 101K+ miles and the technician, who has done all the work on the Spyder for 12 years, test ran the engine and set the pressure to max which I have dropped down one notch on the bar gauge on the console display. Were I in your boots I'd do what Snowbelt suggested.
