• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. WEATHER FOR N.M. AND DURANGO

That is great news! I was hoping for that kind of weather in Durango. The getting there will be the bear in the heat, but once were there it will be worth the sweating and I know I won't want to come back to TX!

Look at the weather for Silverton ... Cool start but a perfect day for the Million $ highway ...

Can't wait!

Forecast says 106/107 here. So will be sticking to my plan of a night ride to Flagstaff. BRP HID Xeon test time ;)

Agreed on the Elk. They don't like spyders. Remember to stay hydrated even at night. Driving open vehicles in dry heat accelerates dehydration. That goes for anyone driving to and attending the event. Especially those coming from cooler climes. Know the signs symptoms of heat related illnesses. And those of you from the flatlands, remember the higher elevations can cause you to be a little lightheaded. Most of all, have a great time. Wish we could be there.

A couple things to remember:
1. Almost no humidity out here, so for those coming from the East--90 here doesn't feel like 90 there.
2. I don't remember it getting hotter than 95 all of last summer. It should be reasonable.

Cant wait!!!

Andy

Any news on the forest fires in the Durango area? Hope all the fires are contained by next week. I'm really eager to be there.

Re: fires
We should be fine. The fires are southeast of ABQ and other fires are in northern Colorado. No worries for us unless the wind pushes the smoke at us.

NO Smoke in Albuquerque

We got to Albuquerque Sunday and the news talks about the fires, but we are seeing no smoke, but the wind is gusting from time to time. If you are coming in I-40 should be good other than warm (hot) to some.
