• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Welcome, Monk/Bob

Thank you for the welcome.
I spent many years on a Goldwing, managed to put in about 450,000 miles. Because of some vertigo/dizziness problems and a couple of wrecks that it caused (probably more my stubbornness) I have not been on a bike in 4 and 1/2 years. As much as I tried to push the fun I had into the background, it just wouldn’t stay gone. So here I am trying to open a new and different chapter in my life.

Wish me luck.

I will post a pic when I can figure how to resize it.

Welcome aboard Monk/Bob.

When it comes to pics, check out this thread, the first post & the listed directions in particular - it's about posting pics/images as thumbnails; and if you check out the links in posts #17 & I think #20 I reckon you'll find some help in re-sizing your raw images. ;)

And if you head down the Spyder path, you won't necessarily find a little vertigo will stop you - there's quite a few of us here who are sufferers, some with milder forms; others with Meniere's &/or BPPV; some with other nastier conditions; and a few of us with some pretty savage 'acute vestibular disfunctions' caused by various degrees of acquired brain Injuries. But if you can handle things long enough to let yourself get some good saddle time, maybe as much as a couple of thousand miles, you stand a pretty good chance of working out why all tend to carry on so much about the 'Miles of Smiles' that Spyder ryding can bring!
