There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. What year /model of Spyder?. Mine is a 2021 RTL and I decided to use the Brembo, P/N 98.5031.70. , not installed yet. Decided against the EBC HH pads because on every other bike , they took a long time to break in and growled--eventually were ok, and I'm sure would last longer but also wanted my rotor to last. Front stock ones looked fine at 6K, just the rear pads showed maybe 2-3 K left on them

AFAIK, there's only 2 variations of Spyder brakes, so the only thing you really need to know is the Spyder Pre-2013 with the Can-Am unique brakes; or 2013 & on with the Brembo Brakes... apart from those distinctions, I reckon they's all the same when it comes to pads & rotors, altho there might be minor Park Brake actuation differences.

I am sorry you have not had good luck with the EBC pads. The HH pads will achieve full braking ability right away if you employ the recommended Bedding In Process. I believe this is true of any Sintered pad, regardless of manufacturer. Organic pads do not stop as well or last as long. But they do not require a bedding in process to achieve full stopping power. But even without performing this process, Sintered pads stop pretty well right out of the box.

There is a chance of noise with any brake pad. But we have found the EBC HH pads to be as quiet as any, and quieter than most. Not saying anything against the Brembo pads. They are a quality product. Though I believe the originals are an organic compound, you can get Brembo pads in a Sintered version for the Spyder as well.

Sintered pads, again, regardless of manufacturer, will be more aggressive on the rotor than Organic. This, after all, is how they achieve superior braking performance. But I have never seen anyone wear out a rotor having used Sintered pads. I have replaced a good deal of rotors. But always due to warpage or metal on metal contact with brake pads which were not replaced when they should have been. Even with the softer, stock BRP brake rotors. I do not see rotor wear as a real world issue. If you spring for the EBC rotors. They will add additional braking, resist warpage better than the OEM rotors, and are of a higher carbon content steel which also resists wear better.

And lastly. You can get EBC pads for the Spyder in an organic compound. They are less expensive than the Sintered version, and work as well as any organic pad. I used to carry them. But every customer asked for the best stopping power they could get. Which, when you boil it down, is what any brake system is all about. This will always be a Sintered product. No one wanted the Organic pads, so I quit carrying them.

Again, not trying to bash Brembo in any way. Just trying to clear up some things regarding the EBC product.

I've used EBC pads on all my rides with excellent results. I have friends that have tried other brands but always come back to EBC.
