• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Looking for a inexpensive rain gear that works must be light weight and keeps me dry. Also dont wont to spend to much money.:dontknow:

We bought Frogg Toggs from Revzilla. They are incredibly light, they breathe, & they keep you dry. I think you'll like the price too. I realize as was said before...you get what you pay for....but I truly think these might be the exception.

I got the brp and the wife got the nelson riggs! hers was about half the price of mine, but we both like the fact they have a lot of hi viz yellow on them for those dark cloudy rainy days!the extra color is worth the extra bucks for safety!nojoke

I also like the Tourmaster Elite.
We gave it a real tortue test back in April; three, 600 plus mile days in some real toad stranglers... It passed with flying colors!
One piece suits have one less place to have to worry about water infiltrating...
They're currently retailing at $105... Cheap; after you've had a couple of wet butts!

Frogg Toggs jacket, pants, and boots. They are cut large to go over your clothes. Don't forget gloves. I use Tour Master Dri-Mesh Gloves . . . but get larger than you normally wear . . . at least that was the experience I had. They have a liner in them that keeps your hands dry.

I keep a set of Frog Toggs in the Spyder at all times but I use my Vega's if I go out in the rain.

I use Frog Toggs, don't know what you would consider expensive, but less than $100.

Yep cheaper on ebay. I got the Road Toad MC jacket for $40 shipped but I got BRP pants for $29 on ebay and they are awesome. I wouldn't pay $100+ for them though. The Road Toad has reflective piping too:thumbup:

I guess I'm the odd man out, didn't have good luck with Frog Toggs. I really like my River Road High 'N Dry rain suit.

Add me for Frog togs. My last set is the slighly heaver Road Tog (?). Good protection and long life.
they also can double as wind/cold protection when it gets a little chilly out.

FROG TOGGS FOR SURE

I rode in 2 hours of solid rain from Sturgis heading to Cody WY and they kept me bone dry. I paid $40 for the 2 piece set. Highly recommend for the quality and price.

I bought a two piece set from Cycle Gear that has worked great for us. They are Bilt brand name made for Cycle Gear. I think I paid about 80 bucks for the set. I rode back from Georgia in the rain the whole time without a leak. Was a 5 to 6 hour trip.
