• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Wife and i will be spending 2 full weeks this year in the entire black hills region. (Second week will be at rally) Then 4 more weeks on the road after that. We have spent many many weeks in the area, but always with the horses, literally the 4 legged ones. I am very formiluar with the roads and area. This is our first time with just the spyder. We never really went out to eat because we had the smoker going and had the toyhauler or horse trailer and packed or made all our meals. This will be different. Where’s the best Berger joint, chicken sandwich or BBQ chicken joint and Icecream. Mileage, distance and time is not a concern ( Spearfish, to rapid cider to hot springs ) Give me your best recommendations. I did some searches and Icecream seems to be the easiest. We have eaten at the purple pie thats about it.

Well since you are spending another 4 weeks on the road try Ray's Tavern in Green River, Ut. for burgers or chicken. BamBams BBQ in the south end of Orem, Ut on State St. or 5 Star BBQ on the old Geneva Road in Vineyard Ut. Ice cream, anyplace that serves Aggie (USU up by Logan,Ut) or BYU Ice Cream( Brigham Young U in Ptovo Ut). Go to Creamery on 9th in Provo. Both are available elsewhere but you have to ask. In Wyo.go to Farson. Just a little crossroads but they make GREAT ice cream

Sugar Shack on 385 has good burgers. In Hill City The Alpine Inn has some great deserts but note they do not take credit cards. Cash or check only.

Thanks pegasus. I’ll be zigzagging through Utah. We are taking the toyhauler to rapid city and leaving it there at a storage facility. After black hills we are heading to Colorado Springs to Durango then flagstaff. Up into Utah back down to silverton, black canyon, up to ESTES, to Cody, over the bear to Custer’s last stance, the just south of glacier, west into Idaho, south to Tetons, back through Yellowstone, over the bighorns into Sheridan and to Rapid City to pick up the toyhauler. I’ll be pulling my new mini mate after the black hills. Should be interesting! Honestly deserts and Icecream is what the wife loves to look for. Not uncommon to jump on spyder and drive 1.5 hours one way to a small creamery she loves for the fun of it.
