• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hi, Mike here...If you could add a ( bracket ? ) to your GS / RS / RSS 08 to 2012 models that would give your passenger the option of " FIVE " different foot positions to make their riding experience more comfortable, is that of interest to you.? ? ?.....I have thought for a long time, that since the only option ( that I know of ) has been the BRP extended passenger peg ( @ $ 225 + ) was very limited and waaaaaay toooooo expensive, that an alternative could be found. I think this may be it. What it does is it moves the OEM passenger peg down ( towards the drivers peg ) 2 1/2 inches at a time, for a total of 10 inches. This allows for 5 different foot positions. Putting this on your Spyder is bolt on ....NO WELDING...If you have an interest you can voice it here and share your opinion....If you have a serious ( $ ) interest PM me ....My plan would be to introduce this at Spyderfest. Thankyou for spending the time to read my post...Mike....PS...No pics, what's written is a very good explanation for now, thanks .....and the original pass. peg position is only moved slightly forward, then 4 positions more are added @ 2 1/2 inches apart...PPS No cutting, no filing etc, you can return the Spyder to "STOCK" if you want, if you sell it !, And if you already have the BRP passenger extension, you can sell it now and have more than enough money to buy MINE.. REALLY !!!!!

Always looking........

Ryding 2 up on an RS is tough. As such, I am always looking for ways to make the ryde more comfortable for my wife. There are 2 more things to consider though. My daughter is 10 years old and is almost taller than my wife. Within a couple years she is going to need more leg room. In 2 more years my 4 year old will also be ryding, meaning I am going to need shorter extensions. I would definitely be interested in something like this.
Great idea:2thumbs:

Unfortunately that is not where my talents lay : However if you draw a straight line 10 in.long and then draw 5 lines perpendicular to that line starting 1 1/2 in. from the end and space them 2 1/2 in. apart .....this what the peg positions would be if you put them there ( your choice ) and the lines are 5 in. long......Hope this helps....Mike
