• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Your top speed on Spyder?

I am still new to my Spyder and only have 500 miles on her. I ride safely and responsibly like I drive my truck, but when I am in the middle of nowhere on a straightaway I have been know to open it up. Today I hit 91mph on open interstate in the country for a short spurt and then backed her down to the speed limit. My RS was smooth as glass and seemed to have a lot left.

What have others reached?:doorag:

115-120... with RT622 trailer... passing an dumpster truck on a 4 lane highway and he was trying to pass me. I showed him!:firstplace:

110-115 mph on long straight country road. That was the 2010 RTS. Haven't had the 2012 RTS much above 90 mph yet.

I have seen mine at 105 on the GPS. I don't think it had much left. I might get 110 with a tailwind, maybe not. 2010 RTS. Stock.

2012 RS..!!

freeway 110 with a lot left speed wise not road wise towns come up to fast at that speed and not the place to be going that fast. Seen some u-tube videos where they get close to that 200 mark but then thats u-tube and anything goes...don't know that anyone knows the top speed for these machines.... Fast enough for us..!!

So we know these things fly and feel pretty darn stable doing it. I thought they were goverened at about 110, but apparently not.

I've had mine at 100 mph indicated once. Haven't felt the need to do it again. On the freeway usually cruise around 70 to 75 mph.
