• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Adjustable wind deflectors

I was thinking about getting a set of adjustable wind deflectors for my 2015 RTL until I saw that they were selling for $194.99!!! :yikes:. The same thing for 2014 models was $154.99, still out of sight but forty dollars cheaper. The sets have different model numbers and the pics look the same but I'm wondering why the difference within only one model year? Does anybody know if they can be interchanged or not? Thanks.

I took the ones off my 14 RTS and put them on my 15 RTL so i guess they are interchangeable unless the new ones have some other options that i am not aware of.

Call Whitt at Pitbull (parts mgr) i bet he can help you out with some 417 863-1418

Isn't it because one model number is for the clear ones, and the other is for the chrome ones? They were about 40 bucks different.

The $150 price tag is why I got my dealer to give me mine back rather than throwing them in the trash per the install instructions for the heat recall mod on my 2013 RT. I will probably put them on my 2014. Best part was BRP reimbursed me for them. Sometimes we do win!

Clear versus chrome...

You might try posting a Wanted to Buy thread in the 4 Sale section, as I think that more than a few folks who had the heat mod done got to keep their adjustable deflectors.

Agree, there was quite a few listed for sale at around 50% off.

If you shop, you may find them new for around $100 in clear. Ours came from Pitbull a while back when they were having a sale on them. Think we paid $109 at the time.

Find them now if possible, once it warms up used ones seem to be in demand.

You might want to consider a set of Baker Air Wings. They're pretty functional when it's hot, cold and/or rainy.

Joe, I had a set on my '11 RT and transferred them to the '14, but in my opinion, they really don't do very much. All the way out and the air is slightly diverted off your legs; all the way in slightly more air. Can hardly tell the difference. I don't ride with a passenger so perhaps they are useful for the rider.
