• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

24 RT with a Delay in gear upshift, but not all the time - anyone else? Any fixes?

Randomly when I manually upshift there is a delay from when I press on the shifter to when it changes gears. Only about 1/2 a second but the timing is off and it is jerky. Only happens when upshifting. Will not happen all the time. Anyone else have this problem and what needed to fix it?

I am on my third Spyder (20,22,24) and all have done this occasionally while shifting up through the gears. A momentarily stumble, at least as I perceive it. It does not happen often enough for me to get concerned.

Have dealer or someone with BUDS2 perform the procedure to reset the clutch engagement points.
I checked that in my BUDS2. I was gonna do it but it says only to do after installation of a new clutch pack. There is also re learn shift points which the manual says to do for erratic shifting. I checked this while no powervision tune on the bike and the instructions are to do it with the oil warm and the bike running.

Also after changing my HCM oil filter that has never been changed (32k) it definitely shifts better…..

Does it happen when you are accelerating hard?
I know mine gives a pretty good lurch when coming on to it and upshifting, rpm's around 6K ±. Coming out of a short on ramp for instance trying to get up to speed fast.
