• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I had some difficulty with my new to me 2015 RT-S 9600 miles. After a lot of wrenching and reading on my part, it is running great! Middle Tennessee to Charleston, WV it has been running great. 41 mpg on secondary and state highways. When I made this trip last fall, it wouldn’t go up grades in any gear above 4th. Same hills 75 mph with ease in 6th gear. 80 on the flat is no problem and gets there quickly.
I’m a slow rider and those were experimental runs. Injectors, spark plugs, fuel filter, and Speedometer Cluster repair made it run like my friends said it was supposed to run. I’m enjoying this machine and no longer regret buying this ride! Wonderful forum!

9600 miles on an 11 year old bike means it sat a lot. Probably gummed up the injectors real good. Were you able to clean them or did you replace them? I run some injector cleaner often in mine.
Number #1 was sticking open. I cleaned it, then I accidentally launched all three onto the concrete floor, so I bought all three new ones. I had torn off two blue shop towels, tore them apart and laid the injectors on the towel and covered them with the other sheet. What I did not realize was about an inch of towel still connected the two sheets. The next morning I went to uncover the injectors by picking up the top sheet. Since the sheets were still connected it launched the three cleaned and tested injectors into the air and made an awful crack when they hit the concrete floor. Feeling stupid and incompetent, I ordered three new injectors. Later, I retested the original set and they appear okay. I was not willing to take the chance using them. I siphoned all the old gas out of the tank and replaced the fuel filter with the OEM one. I also added clean premium Shell gas and added half a bottle of Techron. On my trip to Ohio, I got 41+ mpg.
