• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Can I use a splitter for Multi USB connections?

2021 Spyder RTL has one connection in the glove box for USB. Can I connect a 1 into 2 splitter
and run my GPS and cell phone to this connection at the same time?

Probably not. These splitters are used for power only. You could try a small unpowered USB hub. Beware, even if the cable does support a hub, the connection does not provide a lot of power.

I added a docking station to my 2024 Spyder RT Sea2Sky that gets power from the accessory power port on the right side of the bike next to the right front wheel. The same dock would work on your Spyder.

My latest 2018 came with the 2010-2019 version of that. I bought a cig lighter plug in volt meter/two USB ports device, and plugs for the unused currently USB ports on it. The included USB ports on the other side are power my phone and dash cam.

I have a plug on the left side or my top box which I put a usb splitter in which runs my Ipod is plugged into as well as my phone keeps both charged up well using both devices.

Yes, the USB socket in the top box is a power connection only. Using a USB splitter in there will allow you to charge two devices simultaneously. There is no data connection to the bike via that port.

It provides more power than the USB connection in the glove box at the front I believe. Some people have problems running maps apps on their high end phone whilst drawing power from the front USB port and having it charge the phone as well. Putting a splitter on there may not have enough power to charge a Garmin and a smartphone if they are running with displays on and apps running.
