Michigan riders going to the June BRP event.

I know it's still early, but I was wondering what your plans might be. I would like to meet up and ride with someone if it can work out. I was planing on leaving the 25th. I live right near I-94 about halfway between Kazoo and St. Joe. I could also ride south and hook up with anybody running down the 80-90 toll road.

Debbie and I will probably be leaving the morning of the 25th. We haven't set a specific time yet but I'd like to be at the hotel between 3pm and 5pm so that has us leaving Grand Blanc between 9am and 11am. Of course, we might leave earlier to account for any travel delays.

It's a "definite maybe" at this point. I would like to avoid Chicago traffic and might decide to spend the money and take the ferry. Maybe they would give us a group discount?

:agree: It would be great to meet up with you and ride down together. I just got a message from Tina (8Legs) and the IN SpyderLovers want to meet us on the way as well. I think if Brian and I left our house by 8a.m or 9a.m. that gives us plenty of time to pick up Spyders along the way and still get to the hotel by around 3:00 p.m. especially since we gain an hour on the way there. We'll get the logistics figures out and get in touch with everyone. Can't wait.

How does a tentative meet up at the 64th St/Hartford exit sound. I believe there is fuel there and should be a good spot to pick you up. If there is a better easy on/easy off for fuel, please let me know, it has been a while since I have ridden that way. I know there are a number of places down closer to Benton Harbor but it looks like we can pick you up sooner than that. We can plan a meet up around 11:00 a.m. We can tweak all this as we get closer but how does that sound so far?

I looked into that and want to do it sometime as I think it would be fun--- but it's expensive. $129 round trip for each person, then another $129 round trip for the Spyder...:yikes:. So $ 260 total!

If you take 94 and get off two exits before Hartford (Decatur exit), I live about 2 miles from there on Red Arrow Hwy. We could meet up there, gas up in Lawrence and back out to 94. That sounds good, 94 is the route we would be taking. I've been PM'ing 8Legs too about where to meet up with the Indiana riders and which route to head north. I think the time of day we are going, we should be fine taking 90/94 almost all the way to Libertyville. If we swing way wide of Chicago, we could go 80 to 355 but that is pretty out of the way. Just PM me your phone and address and we will confirm everything as we get closer to the event.
