Irish2theMax & Trickie Dick made it to the end of Rte 66 this afternoon. Irish will try to post to his blog but his wifi connection at the hotels has not been reliable. What he needs is a MiFi. Spyderflyer and myself had dinner with them last night in Barstow and lunch at the end of the Santa Monica pier. Pretty windy day. Hope to ryde with you guys again Dick & Brian. Sorry you missed it Gene. Santa Monica Pier would be a cool place for a rally.

Congratulations, guys, on a successful Route 66 ride. Wish I could have made the whole distance with you but my thoughts have been with you all the way. Hope the rest of the trip goes well and that you have many more days of safe and fun riding.

Do you know if they are going to keep pressing on up the California coast as planned or are they beat up enough to head back east? Just interesting in know cause I know some of there plans have been adjusted..

Yes, they are continuing their adventure. Sunday night they were staying in Calabasas. May God bless them and keep them safe. I wish I have their youthful zeal when I'm their age ... which won't be long in the case of Irish. Dick ... in about 10 years.
