Heading out in a few hours for a nice ryde, over the Skyway and along the beaches to the Gun show. When you can combine 2 of your favorite things together, ryding and guns, life just does'nt get a whole lot better.:thumbup::thumbup:
Leaving the trailer at home though. It keeps the temptation for large purchases down...LOL

That's alright we are suppose to 60 degrees today the winter weather advisory is not until Monday. Sure hope is is not an ice storm like they say is possible.

If you interested in a great ride and a GOOD gun shop make sure to climb on the Elephant Rock Ride scheduled for Friday during Spyderfest.

:2thumbs:

If you're in Northwest Arkansas, join us for a ride today from Bentonville to Eureka Springs for lunch. Supposed to be 66 degrees! Call 408-427-5309 for details.

I hope you have a good time at the gun show Dave.

I also wish all of you who are getting a break in the weather are able to get a ryde in as well.

:gaah:

It's not 70 here but it is nice, in the 40's right now so I may have to step out for a little ride. :doorag:

It will be 9 degrees tonight. More snow mid week. We've had 60" of snow in four storms just this month alone!

OMG, reading your post brought back Awesome memories from my past. Back in 99 I used to live in Clearwater, right along the bay that runs up to Dunedin & the Yacht Club. Going across the Gulf-To-Bay Causeway every day to work & back, & the Skyway Bridge are some of the best memories of living down there.

Tho, I know if I wasnt here in Cyncy now, I'd never have been in the position to be a Spyder Owner :( I couldnt imagine be'n a SpyderRyder & live'n in Florida now, I'd never get off the byke :roflblack: cept maybe when the cains blew into town :banghead: I envy you.

Tho to be fair, Ive got it better than many here, as even tho I'm in the Ohio/Ky Midwestern Winter of :cus: thats kill'n most of our ryde'n tyme, I'm still out almost daily & love'n it. Luckily, they keep the roads pretty well taken care of here, & I'm prepaired for the cold, so its still a joy to be out:doorag:

Teddy & I met the family for lunch today & I took a couple pics of Teddy with his doggles on while stop'n at local sites. Had a couple in a Smart Car stop & the lady busted out laugh'n when she realized Teddy was a real dog on a byke, she thought he was a stuffed toy at 1st. They pulled over, rolled the window down, and the lady thanked us & said that we had made her day :ohyea: Ive heard that many times while ryde'n  kinda weird, but know'n I made someone else's day, well, that kinda makes my day as well:clap: Have I said How Much I love my Spyder lately? :p

Have a good ride and enjoy :2thumbs:
Good thing you are leaving the Trailer at home!

We had 56 degrees yesterday.
What a beautiful day, the sun was out, a bit chilly but no wind, of course we were out riding :spyder:

Today it's only going to be 46 degrees, but we will be out there anyway. :ohyea::yes::ohyea::yes:

Tomorrow we are going to get some nasty winter stuff :(
Temps are starting to drop tomorrow, highs only high 20's, low 30's :(

Feel for you Lee, hope no ice storm again, you will be stuck at home and won't be able to get out your driveway :yikes:

Mid 60's here but :spyder:having some mods done. Can't ride but those who can have a great ryde on the :spyder:s. :2thumbs:

It was 25F here today, but bright and sunny. The light snow cover that fell at night was gone by midday and at 2:30 I couldn't stand it any more. With the Gerbings and heated grips it felt great to get out for a 30 minute ride. Yeeeehaaaah!

Dan, I haven't paid much attention to those folks farther South that are sneaking in the rides, but to be upstaged by a fellow Michigander is just plain cruel! ;) I am jealous beyond words. Not only do I not have the new RTS yet, but our street is still snow/ice covered, and even the main roads aren't fully clear. I hate salt, but I think I would even brave that for a chance at a ride. The sun (unusual for us in West Michigan) was nice, but a ride in the sun would be better.

This will make you feel better - I rode the 2 wheeler, not the Spyder yesterday. And I am fortunate that our streets were all clear after the warming sun hit them. I drove the route in a car first, since I didn't want any surprises.

That may be it for a while, though. They're calling for something like 18-19" of snow by Wednesday night. The only thing I'll be operating is a snow blower and snow shovel!

Oh yeah, that made me feel lots better! :roflblack: I'm afraid the BMW is not going to be able to get out until late March, at best. The driveway is ice and packed snow, and street is too. It will take some serious thawing before I can venture out on two wheels...and maybe even on three. Not looking forward to that foot and a half of new snow between now and Wdenesday, either.
