• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Gave Orbit a bath today

I went to my dealership today, and as Malcolm (of Malcolm Smith Motorsports) walked by he asked me "why is this unit so dirty, is it one of ours?" I was so embarrassed as I explained how the gardener blows dirt around when doing the landscaping, and I did not put the cover on it last night. I should have washed it before I left, but had to leave to make my appointment time. I have had Orbit for two months now, and I have learned a thing or two about giving her a bath. First, do not use the drive-through car wash, as you get too wet. Second, and most important, a good 30 minute ryde on the freeway dries up all those spots you can't reach. By the way, I was joking about the drive-through car wash part. So now if you excuse me, I think I need to dry Orbit some more.

I have not been able to ryde since hurting my ankle. My poor Spyder currently has a nice thick layer of green pollen on it. Anyone who has ever been in the south at the start of spring knows how everything turns green from the pollen. :gaah: I could try to get out there and clean it off, but it will just be green again in a matter of hours. I will wait to take care of it when I am finally able to ryde it again.

I said this in another thread.

YOU KNOW MALCOLM SMITH ??????

Wow.

First time I have met him, but I reconized him from photos. He has a small museum in his dealership about his racing days. Nice guy, when he walked into the building a customer (I assume) went up to him, shook his hand, and took a photo with him.

I wish I had grass to mow, and if I did, I would cut the grass myself. Leaves me with more $$ for mods. The gardener works for the apartment complex I live in. Thus, why Orbit is parked outside (she get's the covered parking space), and the dirt got blew onto her.

Now I would have a talk with the guy who blew dirt all over the Spyder and show him the garden hose!

Thanks for the suggestion, but I won't for three reasons. First, It was my stupidity anyhow as I normally have her covered but was too lazy after a ryde to cover her. Second, Only I touch Orbit (knowingly). Third, I am moving this weekend so he won't get the chance to dirty her again.

malcolm smith got my first spyder from them had to go to another place to get my 2010
