• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Not a great day here...

I was going to suggest some bumper stickers for the back, in light of the front end issue might I suggest bubble wrap and blue duct tape:joke:

I know...

And I had just about outlived the nickname given me as a result of an "Incident" with a Buick back in 1980... "Crash" :opps:

...she's okay and I'm okay...

Well, that's the important part. Plus it's good to hear that you're taking responsibility for something that could happen to any of us, rather than looking for something or someone else to blame.

Best wishes with SWMBO and that new bike!

Wow Bob. Bad day did get worse. Glad you are ok though. You get that new Spyder and be careful out there! We don't want to lose you!

Well at least you won't need the paint codes for the touch up on the back!:roflblack:

Sorry about your Spyder at least you are ok! Last weekend one of the guys in my MC club rode his Yamaha crusier off a cliff at the Dragon in Deals Gap! We all thought it was black patch time but he comes crawling back up the cliff as we pull up :shocked: Bike is totaled and 50 feet down the side hanging onto a tree! He's fine with just a few bumps! He was checking his GPS in a sharp turn, talk about distracted. Unbelievable.

Good luck with getting a new or repaired ride.

Bob, I am glad you changed your icon from Homer, I was starting to worry you might wander near a nuclear plant :yikes: while reading thorugh the events on this thread. SERIOUSLY THOUGH, sorry to hear about your :spyder2: accident, but am glad all involved are OK.
What color you thinking if an upgrade is in your future now?

The scariest part about Homer is that I look more like him than I truly care to admit... :yikes: I should receive the estimates on the carnage today...
Upgrades would still be Blue... I could slide it right in the garage and nobody would even know the difference!:roflblack: :2thumbs:

Well the events of this evening pretty much put the entire weekend into perspective...
While taking my Spyder to the dealer's this evening for servicing, a new tire, some warranty work and the aforementioned scratches, I managed to T-Bone a young lady in a new Subaru at an interesction!
Totally my fault... she's okay and I'm okay but her Suby's entire left side is toast and my RT needs a new frame and tupperware up front...

A simple stupid case of distracted driving! :gaah:

I disagree with this comment Bob............ If the misses was not jawing in your ear in the first place none of this would have ever happened. The blame lies on her. :roflblack: Now delete this before she sees it ,just in case Holly and I ever get to meet you both.

:roflblack::shocked: She was in the Jeep behind me... It was the roughest ride home that ny human being has ever endured! :yikes:

But...........how much to trade for that RT-S you've been longing for?
Just stirring the pot.:dontknow:
Saw a couple of nice blue ones in Daytona today. You would look good on one of those.:shemademe_smilie:

Bob I guess it is good you are an insurance agent. and I was just going to ask you to join us on a ride.

Thanks Ron! I can STILL pose as either a bad example, or comic relief! :D
The bike's just up the road from you if you can talk Tom into letting you see the wreckage...
