• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

So Now it's MARCH????

:gaah: :gaah::gaah::gaah::gaah::gaah::gaah::gaah::gaah: I'm now getting pretty close to losing it over this ordeal... Supposedly they're ordering some more small parts and it's gonna take a couple of more weeks!!! :gaah::gaah::gaah::gaah::gaah::gaah::gaah::gaah::gaah::gaah::gaah:
If this is how a dealer treats a potential customer (I didn't buy from them, but have been trying to build a relationship), maybe once I get it back they won't see me again...
I have not put their name out here in these threads because I've been trying to give them a chance to come through for me... but this is getting very aggravating now...

Thanks... They are SO gonna be my next call!
...And this Dealership holds a Platinum rating! :gaah:

The question is, do you want to piss them off while they still have your bike? it's a no brainer...heck yeah!!:gaah:

Why didn't they total this bike in the first place? sorry, i forget if already said.

Bob, it seems like they are sending you on Adventures in the Arctic. :(

I fully understand that they started out as a snowmobile dealership (Arctic Cats! :gaah:), so when I dropped the Spyder off in October I knew that it was their busiest time of the year...
But now that the season has turned to :cus: for the sledders... there's not a valid reason on the Planet for any delay now!

Okay-- refresh my brain.... did you have an accident with your Spyder and are trying to get it all fixed?

They've had it since OCTOBER?
You are very patient.... I would have picked it up long ago and went elsewhere......

:opps: Yup...
October 11th, I T-Boned a Subaru while on the way to drop the Spyder off for servicing and a tire change. At the time of drop-off I was told it would be "About Christmastime" when I'd get it back... That seemed okay; until it became February! :gaah: Carlo called the dealer and encouraged them to hasten their progress, so it was then back to a January completion date...
...Which then became February again, and now March!
So I'm getting just a wee bit hot under the collar right about now...

We are all still watching with interest. You are being very patient considering the long time of this ordeal. Try to hang in there until you get it back.

Bob
I can't even tease you about this. It has gotten so bad. You have been more than patient. Much more than I would have been. I know you don't like to make a fuss or create a scene, but it might be time for a good old fashioned temper display at their dealership.

So sorry for your hassles bro. :(

What's a little tease amongst frineds? :p Thanks for the support. I've got a call into Carlo to see if he can intercede again on my behalf. I'm not into the whole temper tantrum thing... threw 'em as a kid and mostly just got hit in the mouth for the effort...
I am still hoping that the shop will get their :cus: together and pull this one out fo the fire for me... Their snowmobile sales and service business is a bust for sure this year; I don't imagine that they want any bad press out there once ATV and motorcycle riders start strapping on their helmets.

Too bad you can't get the insurance co to look at it again and just total it out for you. Surely the dealership has run over the original estimate by now. might be something to check on, good luck.

It's nowhere near a total... the estimate was only for a touch under $13,000 and the bike is worth way more than that.
I would really not want it totalled anyway... I couldn't afford to replace it!

Sounds like the dealers "Platinum Rating" is getting a tad tarnished! Hang in there, it's bound to get better...........it sure can't get any worst!:gaah:

Call the better business bureau. Local news channels, newspaper. One news station here has a segment on dealing with companies that treat the customers poorly or don't do quality work, or complete their jobs.
