When the other half came back from a ride the other day, and before I parked the "White Widow", I was run off the road by a moron on a cell phone in the rain. Anyway I didn't crash, just dropped the left front wheel on the berm and scraped the plastic belly pan. No damage to mention. Anyway, I pulled into the garage and the other half wanted me to pull the front end up on ramps to see if there was any damage, and as stated before, none. We got out of the wet gear, went into the house and left the spyder up on the ramps. Later that night, we took the dogs out for a run and a strange thing, no gas smell. This is the first time since I owned the machine that there wasn't any smell after the run. Could it be that keeping the front end up after the ride 'cures' this situation? Any comments?? :chat:
